Stuart Amoriell is a Northern New York resident and community advocate committed to strengthening the region he calls home. Stuart has spent his career building businesses and bringing people together to tackle the challenges facing families, small businesses and local communities.

As a local business owner, Stuart’s commitment to Northern New York is rooted in lived experience. He understands the strain that rising housing costs place on working families, the difficulty residents face accessing reliable healthcare and the economic obstacles that have pushed too many young people to leave the region. His policy focus—an intelligent and compassionate immigration policy, expanding affordable housing, strengthening local economies, improving healthcare access, and supporting education and workforce development—reflects his belief that every resident deserves the chance to build a stable and fulfilling life in Northern New York.

Stuart brings a steady voice and a deep sense of responsibility to strengthening Northern New York. He strongly believes we need to improve civic discourse by recognizing the commonalities and beliefs that all Americans share, believing there is more that unites us than divides us. Stuart lives in Lake Placid, New York with his wife and two young children and is the owner and operator of The Pickled Pig restaurant.
